Effective removal of tape and bond extensions
Professional hair extensions are long-lasting. Tape-in extensions can be worn for 6 to 8 weeks, while keratin bonds typically last around 3 to 4 months. Due to their durability, it is essential to use a suitable solvent for their removal.
This solvent was specially developed for our keratin and tape extensions to remove them as gently and effectively as possible. This product offers the highest efficiency while protecting your own hair as much as possible. The remover is suitable for wax bondings and weft adhesives as well.
What is a bond remover and how does it work?
The bond and tape remover is a specially developed product that helps you remove tape adhesive or keratin bond extensions. Thanks to its effective formulation, the remover dissolves the adhesives effectively so that the extensions can be easily removed without damaging your natural hair.
The handy 100 ml spray bottle allows for precise dosing so you can apply the solvent exactly where it is needed.
Application for keratin bonds:
Application for tape-in extensions:
Slightly separate the two tapes and spray the remover between them. The tapes should then be easy to separate. If the two halves of the tape are still difficult to separate, spray between them again and gently massage the tapes with your fingers. They should then separate with ease. Any excess adhesive residue can be sprayed again and combed out using a fine-toothed comb.

The benefits of the bond solvent in detail
- Gentle on your natural hair
The innovative formula of the bond remover ensures that the extensions can be removed gently without damaging your natural hair.
- Easy to use
Thanks to the practical spray bottle, you can precisely dose the solvent and apply it to the desired area.
- Versatile applications
No matter whether you want to remove tape-ins or keratin bond extensions – this remover is equally suitable for both options.
- residue-free removal
Nobody likes sticky residue in their hair. This solvent ensures that the glue is completely dissolved so that no annoying residue remains and the hair can be cleaned more easily afterwards. A fine-toothed comb is also helpful for combing the sprayed residue out of your own hair.

step-by-step instructions for use
For keratin bonds
To remove keratin bonds, you need not only the removal spray, but suitable pliers as well. For particularly small bonds or halved strands, you can also use our nano ring pliers if you find that easier to handle.
- Section the hair so that you can work directly on the keratin.
- The spray bottle should be shaken before use, especially if it has not been used for a long time. Now spray the solvent onto the bond and allow it to work for about a minute.
- The keratin is then cracked open from several sides using the removal pliers.
- Gently pull the strand out.
For tape-in extensions
Tape-in extensions are popular due to their quick and easy application, as well as being gentle on natural hair. But here too, a suitable solvent is important in order to remove the tapes without damaging them.
- First, the hair needs to be sectioned.
- It is best to shake the bottle before use so that the solution is optimally mixed.
- Pull the two tapes apart a little and spray the solvent between them.
- If necessary, you can use your thumb and index finger to gently massage the "tsandwich" from the outside so that the solvent is evenly distributed between the tapes.
- Now the two pieces of tape can be pulled apart. You might want to use a tail comb to separate the tape halves from each other.
- If any adhesive residue remains in your natural hair, apply some remover to the affected area. A fine-toothed comb will then help to remove the residue. Ideally, work strand by strand for best results. This means that after removing an extension, ensure that any adhesive residue is removed from the area before moving on to the next tape. This will prevent the entire hair from being sticky at the end.
Who is the bond remover suitable for?
This solvent is ideal for:
- Hairdressers and stylists: Professional users benefit from the fast and reliable effect, which makes everyday salon life more efficient.
- Private users: We recommend having the extensions removed professionally by a hairdresser. If you work with patience and caution, you can also remove the strands yourself at home. It is best to get a second person to help you. It is particularly difficult to remove the extensions yourself from the back of the head. If used incorrectly, your own hair can be damaged, so you should approach the matter patiently and carefully.
Tips for use
- Work strand by strand. Don't spray the entire head at first, but concentrate on smaller sections.
- After removal, the hair should be washed and treated with an intensive care mask. Since the solvent contains alcohol, the hair may feel slightly dry after use. Washing your hair afterwards and using a hair treatment will restore the hair's feel. For tape extensions: Wash your hair only after you have removed as much adhesive residue as possible using a fine-toothed comb.
- If you are prone to allergies, please perform a patch test on a small area of skin before using the remover for the first time to ensure no reactions occur.
FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

Yes! The removal spray is not only suitable for keratin bonds, but also for tape and invisible tape-in extensions.
2. Is the bond remover harmful to skin and hair?

3. How long will a bottle of bond and tape remover last?
The longevity of the remover depends on the number and thickness of the extensions. However, one bottle is typically sufficient to remove at least 1 to 2 complete sets of hair extensions.
